In their early years, their mother abandoned them. They were looking for their mom to find them again after their dad died. In Bombay, they began their search for her. The Luthra family sought Dr. Preeta to assist the grandmother. The little child, Karan, began to love her company. They are romantically involved, and Rishabh, their eldest kid, works with Preeta. Though they kept their feelings to themselves, Karan and Preeja were deeply in love. They ended up being close friends.
In the present story, Rajveer claims that all that is occurring is also because of him because Nidhi Luthra married Karan Luthra because of him. Preeta responds that she witnessed Karan Luthra weeping for his wife, and Rajveer saw him confront him. Karan responds that people have moments in their lives when they cry, and Nidhi may have gone through one of those moments. Rajveer also mentions that a close family member said that Karan was excited about his wife and loved her to a certain extent.
