The story of Chand Jalne Laga s’serial begins with the friendship of two kids, Tara and Dev. They become close friend from their childhood and are also very famous for their bond in the whole village. Both of them had a very odd relationship with the moon and they love to watch the moon at night together. One night, when they were watching the moon together they made a promise that they would never get separate from each other and in the meantime, a fire broke out in the field in that village.
Some people blamed Dev is responsible for all this but he didn’t do anything wrong and he was with Tara all the time. Tara got very afraid at that time and she was not in her own and didn’t tell anyone about the innocence of Dev because she had asthma problems because of that smoke. Dev thought that she didn’t tell them the truth because of taking revenge on him. After that their friendship came to an end and Dev moved to the city. He promised himself that he would come back as a successful man and then take revenge on her at any cost.
After 15 years, Dev became a very successful businessman while Tara became a teacher in that village and also ran a small grocery store.
